Officer Jeff Hall grew up in Tyler and Graduated from Robert E Lee and attended Tyler Junior College. Officer Hall started his Law Enforcement career in February of 2000. Officer Hall joined the Longview Police Department in November 2008 and served in patrol for three years. Prior to coming to work for Longview Police Department, he worked as a Patrol Officer, K-9 Officer and Narcotics Investigator. Officer Hall holds a Advanced Peace Officer License and Instructor Certificate from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Education.  Officer Hall also serves on the Department's Honor Guard.

Officer Hall is the Department’s liaison with the community in the Beat 50 area. His duties include the implementation of neighborhood improvement projects , including Neighborhood Crime Watch and Citizen on Patrol programs.
