The Training Section of the Longview Police Department is responsible not only for training members of the Department, but maintaining accurate training records and submitting required documentation to the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Education (TCLEOSE).  The Training Section also periodicaly hosts outside training for members of other law enforcement agencies and coordinates the useage of the Roy Stone Training Room. 

Please click on one of the training calendars on the left side of this page to learn about upcoming training events.  The internal training calendar contains information about upcoming classes for Officers and employees of the Longview Police Department.  The external training calendar contains information about upcoming classes that are open to officers from other agencies to attend.  If you are not with the Longview Police Department and would like to attend a class, please contact the Training Section for information.
