Lt. Lloyd Littlefield

Littlefield_Lloyd_1.pngLieutenant Lloyd Littlefield began his career with the Longview Police Department in October of 1976. Prior to joining the Longview Police Department, Lieutenant Littlefield worked as a police officer for the Stephen F. Austin University Police Department while also attending the university as a student. During his career in Longview, Lieutenant Littlefield has been assigned to duties in a variety of areas as an officer, supervisor or commander. These assignments carried increasing levels of responsibility and include budget preparation, training and recruiting, internal affairs, records, communications, uniform patrol and criminal investigations. In his current assignment, Lieutenant Littlefield is responsible for the the law enforcement activities associated with the Department's Traffic Unit, School Resource Officers, Bike Unit and the Special Investigations and Apprehension Section.

Lieutenant Littlefield received his Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. He is also a graduate of the Bill Blackwood Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas.
