To report a crime, please contact Gregg County Crime Stoppers at 903-236-STOP or visit them online .
Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1000.00 for information that leads to the arrest of persons responsible for a felony crime. Cash rewards are also paid for the arrest of persons wanted on outstanding warrants.
In addition to the patrol officers working an assigned area or patrol beat, the Longview Police Department has assigned a Police Area Representative to each of the three patrol districts. Each of these officers has received specialized training in crime prevention. Each Police Area Representative works out of a community storefront within his reporting district. This enables these officers to work closely with citizens in the district. It also allows for a convenient meeting area for citizens or a great place to hold crime watch or Citizens on Patrol meetings. To find your Police Area Representative, please click here .
